Tenute Eméra Anima di Negroamaro

Tenute Eméra Anima di Negroamaro
Negroamaro is a dark-skinned grape variety that has been associated with the Puglia region in southern Italy for at least 1500 years. Lizzano, just five miles (8km) inland from the Gulf of Taranto coast on the Salento peninsula. This proximity to so much water not only moderates the temperature, but also provides cooling afternoon breezes which fend off the worst of Puglia's famously fierce summer temperatures.

Bright ruby red in color. Aromas of blackcurrants and blackberries balanced with overtones of spice and balsamic herbs. Complex and well-orchestrated on the palate

Review(s) |
Wine Spectator "This silky red is well-balanced and lightly juicy, with dark fruit notes of crushed black currant and black raspberry on the palate, along with flavors of star anise and fresh earth, and a hint of mocha. Supple tannins show on the finish. Drink now through 2021. 4,100 cases made.” A.N. Web only 2016
